Gita or best known as “BhagvadGita” is a religious book of Hindu mythology with gives a lesson of  “Do not Let the fruit of action be the motive for acting” and that “Human body is not eternal, the soul within is eternal”

BhagvadGita is a part of the epic mythological poem Mahabharata. Before the great war of Mahabharata, Arjuna finds it morally wrong to fight against his own family, brothers, and relatives. Then he asked Lord Krishna, Is this war necessary?

To answer Arjuna’s question, Krishna teaches him the true meaning of life and death. He shows Arjuna the eternal truth beyond this materialistic world.

Krishna told Arjuna, don’t fight to take revenge or for just a piece of land, fight for Dharma (what is right).

There are numbers of Gita’s editions, even in foreign languages. This book is not an another translated version of Gita. Rather than “My Gita” is a thematic approach by the writer which helps to understand it better.

Unlike other books this book contains discussions and interpretations by the writer. The next plus point of the book is that writer tried to break down the most complicated knowledge of the world into the simpler form of words.

And he had done it amazingly good due to his huge experience over Hinduism.

Why Should Read:

I will recommend this book for those who love Hindu Mythology and wants to gain true knowledge about Life. The words which are spoken thousands of years ago are also worth knowing in modern life. The verses of Gita are equally or maybe more useful today than the era of Mahabharata.
