About the Writer:

Varun Aggarwal is Banglore based FilmMaker, Entrepreneur, Co-founder of Alma Mater, Motivational Speaker, and author but he himself says that he is not an author he is just a narrator and his narrating style is awesome. He started filmmaking in his college and started Last Minute Films.

He had also directed A.R.Rahman and Preity Zinta in an Ad Shoot. This was his first book and he is writing his next book which will be published soon. His company AlmaMater is one of the leading providers of school merchandise in India.

Anu Aunty is the main character of the book although it’s a story Varun Aggarwal’s life and his company AlmaMater. But Anu aunty is so dominant that the whole story is about conquering the fear of Anu aunty. Here in this book, Anu aunty represents the Indian Society where if you are not a Doctor or Engineer then you are treated as nobody.

The whole book is the story how an unfocused guy turns into an Entrepreneur and kind of problems one can face while starting a startup. How society discourages you at every step that, Business is not for the youngster, you can’t take the risk, just find a good job and all.

Basically, How I Braved Anu Aunty is for young-preneurs who want to do something in their life. But the society wants them to run on the same old track. Rest story is all about how Varun braved Anu aunty and showed them that life is beyond doing engineer or getting a job in the USA.
