Book Review Half Girlfriend
Half Girlfriend the title of the book itself makes curiosity how can a relation can be half. What does it mean to be a Half Girlfriend? Can anyone be a Half Girlfriend or Boyfriend? I think this curiosity is enough to pick this book.
The story is all about two characters Madhav Jha and Riya Somani. Madhav Jha is a simple Bihari boy from the Royal family of Dumraon, Bihar who doesn’t know English very well.
when he comes to Delhi to study in St. Stephens or Stevens as English types call it. He feels very inferior as compared to English types, but one thing, in which Madhav is very good, is Basketball.

And Basketball ground is the place where he first met Riya. Riya Somani is a daughter of a rich businessman and very fluent in English like most students of her college and also play basketball but not as good as Madhav.
Riya likes the simplicity of Madhav and Madhav also loves her. But then Madhav wants to take their relationship a step ahead but Riya didn’t. Madhav wants a relationship but Riya wants only friendship. So Riya suggests a compromise. Riya is ready to be his Half Girlfriend.
To know what’s included in being a Half Girlfriend and is Madhav succeeded to become Riya’s full Boyfriend, you have to read the book and see how the story takes a twist. The climax is really worthy to read without any blink and you may feel like you are in Yashraj’s movie.

Why should Read:
This story is written to be a Bollywood movie and soon you can find in your nearest cineplex but the book has its own advantages. I liked climax very much and the how he had shown the problems of living in a metro city without knowing good English is really debatable.
We live in India where so many languages are spoken and we judge person qualities just by the ability to speak English.
