Hindu Mythology is very vast and contains more than tonnes of information and knowledge. But as in modern ages, nobody has the time read our Shastras and our new generation found it boring.

But no Country or community can survive without the support of its tradition, history and culture.

This book is the answer to your questions based on mythology and history. Questions related to our Epic mythological books like Ramayana and Mahabharata. Are they real? or its a work of a fiction or somewhere between both.

If you have seen his episodes on Epic TV you would know how logically he separates myth from the truth.

  1. Hi,
I started reading the book Devlok with Devdutt Pattanaik and found the very premise of the book on un-researched foundations when Devdutt claims that Ramayana and Mahabharata could not be more than 2000 or at the maximum 4000 years old saying that written proof is only 2000 years old and that there isn’t enough archaeological evidence of their existence. Just how can someone go on to write a book, market it heavily and sell a book when well know archaeological discoveries such as the submerged Dwarka, the Ramsetu that can be seen through satellite imagery, etc have not been taken into consideration. Merely stating the number of vedas or how they are organized, does not merit writing an entire book and skimming money thereof.

    Very disappointed with the book.
